you know, i had a penpal once upon a time. her name was candy, not the same candy in anderson jc of course but ohwell, she had a sad story.

haha, about derek…at some point, he was my savior lol, but he actually saved me from committing suicide after i got raped though and from there i just had the feeling like i owe him something, even though he never said anything about that.

and it got worse.

today im at friend’s house, and today wasnt even a good day to say. last sunday i just got out of hospital, i literally stayed there for 7 days because im having galbladder and stomach infections, and not only just that, i also got tumor in galbladder and its growing. i was suppose to be in surgery by now but the asshole – dr. pacey didnt think that i was an important case to him, so he discharged me while im still in pain.

it must not be very polite copying emails from your penpals, even if they are four years old already. that was the last email from candy anyway, i have totally no idea if she’s dead or something because of the grave illness. out of four siblings, she had a deaf brother and sister and she’s a canadian btw. all these details kinda flooded back into my head when i was randomly tidying up my mailbox, quite sad isn’t?

so joshua, life is not as bad as you think it is. same to you, jilly, and everybody else for that matter, i like to count my lucky stars rather then complain why do i have so little of them hanging in the sky glowing for me. jilly’s probably going to be incredibly busy in between our 15th and 16th monthsary and will need more personal space of her head in lieu of all the crushing academic commitments but yup, there’s no use bitching and whining about it – when the month is over, we’ll paint the town red. i intend to drive her down to island creamery and let her try the exotic flavours they have in the parlour after her exams, i would have gotten my first pay-check too and we can go shopping together! there’s always the bird park date that we’ve always been procrastinating and who knows, maybe thats where we’ll be going right after her last paper, who knows? ::)

it’s really a boring saturday afternoon. i intended to have another evening jog today but the sky is threatening to bawl like a baby. jilly is studying at her friend’s house because she has this accounting test – ohwell i kinda wished that university life wouldn’t be that busy, thats why i wish for her vacations to come as soon as possible so we’ll have more time for one another. in the time being, im contented travelling up to boonlay for the odd dinner or so though since im really the world free-iest man. however, it won’t be for long, i’ll start working at IRAS come our 15th’s monthiversary, be at the mercy of the corporate white collar slavedrivers, s.c.a.r.y stuff. at least i’ll be earning some moolah, i need to beef up my wardrobe because i’ll probably need more than what i have currently when school starts. im not a shopaholic, im more of a i-need-these-items hahahahaha blatant denials i know.

anyway, tadaaaaaaaa, my cliche to-do list and eff wy ay (fyi), they’re not exhaustive.

1. help jilly with her marketing issue, at least make some headway asap and targeting a completion date by the following weekend.

2. find myself a good & adequately-sized study table and a study lamp that doesn’t glare so that jilly and i can study together next time.

actually, i’ll come back and complete the list. its 2.17am and in a bizarre split second, i just don’t feel like writing anymore.

its been awhile

hello guys (if there are any to begin with), i know i have sort of lost some of my zest to blog since 2008 was drawing to an end. in this month, i have gotten back my pink IC and have been sporadically looking for a job. i would like to start a job by the start of next month but the only job offer thus far is the one from iras, which begins mid-late march.

jilly’s piano exam is around the corner anyway, in two days to be exact and expectedly, she has been nervous about it (though she seems better prepared this time around) being the grade A boyfriend material that i am, okay la sometimes i fall below that but i try to maintain my sky-high standards but yup, being the grade A material, i borrowed this massage & aromatherapy book from the library and i must say, it has been really helpful! i never knew there was an art involved in massaging, turned out that it was not all about pressure points but there’s a sequence, a rhythm to it, beginning gently before bringing to a peak in intensity then rounding off with a calming finish. aye aye aye, ive read through bits and parts involving the back and memorized the hands massage for jilly’s piano exam on tuesday. i intend to read the foot massage one soon and give her a truly pampering treat after the stressful piano exams so yup, up to her when she wants to redemn it because im a willing giver, hahaha!

oh recently there’s the emergence of mr rat which is carrying a torch for her and jilly has been grade A material too, keeping me well assured. im curious to hear more about this person though, hahaha i guess i have learnt to see the other side of things.

never mind that, andrei arshavin has made his arsenal debut against sunderland and it has been one boring first half. the sparks certainly are there but we need some ignition so COME ON GUNNERS!

last but not least, i had a truly special, memorable, insanely euphoric thursday, wheee!
